We stock wide width coils that are available to be precision slit to your requirements usually within five working days. Chicago
The Chicago Slitter can handle 30,000 pound coils and can slit between 0.015” and 0.250” thickness at speeds up to 1,200 feet per minute. By using shimless tooling, slit coils with outside diameters up to 60” can be produced with burr free edges and no camber, ensuring all material meets customer specifications every time. Coil can be wound onto cores with an inner diameter of 16”, 20”, or 24” to meet the needs of each customer. For more information about our Chicago Slitter, please visit our equipment page.

Goebel
Our Goebel Slitter is capable of cutting gauges between 0.001” and 0.012” with a maximum master coil width of 52” and maximum coil weight of 2,000 pounds. Typically, the material that is processed on our Goebel Slitter is used in lower volume products, especially for the manufacturing of fins used in heat transfer applications. Kampf
Using the Kampf High Speed Fin Slitter, aluminum, stainless steel, and nickel materials can be processed in thicknesses from 0.002” to 0.024” with speeds up to 1,600 feet per minute. Our Kampf slitter can accept master coils with a maximum weight of 10,000 pounds and maximum width of 49.50”. Coils can be slit with a width as narrow as 0.625”, while holding precision slitting tolerances as tight as +/- 0.002” and wound onto cores with diameters of 3”, 6”, 10”, 12” or 16”. Ruesch
Our Ruesch Slitter can work with any temper of aluminum, including annealed “O” temper coils, in thicknesses between 0.004” and 0.080. It can be cut to coil widths as narrow as .88” to produce a finished coil with a maximum outer diameter of up to 40”. Rowe Cut-to-Length
At Lynch Metals, we have three Rowe Cut-to-Length processing lines that are capable of cutting master aluminum or stainless steel coils between 10” and 60” in width and up to 30,000 pounds in weight. This line is specially designed to cut surface critical or extremely ductile materials, such as “O” temper annealed aluminum, which is difficult to level. Our 60” Rowe Cut-to-Length Line is capable of cutting material between 0.16” and 0.125” in thickness to lengths between 15” and 192”, with a minimum cut width of 10”.
